At Millfield Healthcare we work with clients to design support packages tailored to meet individual needs and improve quality of life. We support Adults over 18 years old to continue living independently and safely in the comfort of their own homes.
What is Domiciliary Care?
Domiciliary care refers to help or treatment someone receives in their own home. This can range from personal care and companionship to more specialist care such as dementia and palliative care.
Everyone’s circumstances are different and can change throughout the course of a care plan. Someone who has been discharged from hospital, for example, may need a substantial level of support to begin with, which will gradually ease off as they begin to recover.
How We Care
At Millfield Healthcare we don’t believe in a one size fits all approach when it comes to care. We assess your requirements to recommend a personalised care plan that maintains your independence at home and meets your budget.
What we do:
Visits To Suit You
Our flexible approach to personal care means we can provide as many daily or weekly visits as you need, with the option to introduce additional steps such as live-in care and specialist care if needed. We’ll make sure you get the help you need, whenever you need it.
Live-in care means there is always someone to attend to your needs every day or night for 24 hours a day. Our specifically selected care givers provide professional care that meets your personal needs. We provide reassurance so that you and your loved one feel safe and secure as you retain your sense of independence in your own home.
Peace of Mind
Circumstances can suddenly change meaning you may need home care as quickly as possible, we’re always on hand to help. Our team of qualified professionals are ready for when you need us.
If your loved one is getting discharged from hospital and wants someone to be there for them, we are here to help. From navigating the discharge to arriving home, we’re hear to make things as stress-free as possible.
Sometimes it is the little things in life that matter, like spending time with someone and taking the time to talk to them. Our goal is for your loved one to be given a new lease of life and to never feel that they are alone.
How it works
After an initial conversation, we design a personal care plan which will follow our client’s own routine as closely as possible. We want our clients to be fully involved in making decisions as it’s important that everyone feels included and completely comfortable throughout the entire process. Our aim is for our clients to feel that they’re in control of their own care since this is an important step in helping them feel more relaxed, safe and confident about what’s been agreed.
